Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply for the registry?
The Registry of Professional Vocational Evaluators is no longer accepting new applications. Please see our changes to the registry page for more information.
Can I “convert” my CVE to a PVE?
The CVE and PVE are separate designations; they are handled by two different professional organizations. Individuals who hold a valid CVE credential are, however, presumed eligible for the PVE designation. We leave it up to individuals to decide which designation(s) will best meet their professional needs.
Does the Registry of Professional Vocational Evaluators handle CVE renewals?
CVE renewals are managed by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC).
What are your office hours?
The Registry does not maintain a traditional “bricks and mortar” office. Our organization is comprised of a small and geographically diverse group of professionals. A virtual office environment allows us to operate economically and with greater flexibility.
Upcoming Changes to the RPVE
